On Saturday, March 1, I'll be riding to beat cancer! Cycle for Survival is an indoor team cycling event that raises funds for rare cancer research. 100% of the funds go directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and are allocated within six months of each event. The donations go to the most promising research and clinical trials, and have led to better treatments for cancer patients worldwide.

I've been a member at Equinox since moving to NYC, and I am so excited that my gym participates in this wonderful event. Cancer has touched my life in many ways--both of my parents are cancer survivors (that's them in the pic, aren't they precious?), and without funding for cancer research, they may not have made such miraculous recoveries. Riding is my way of giving back!

If cancer has touched your life in some way, or if you feel compelled to donate to this important cause, please visit my Cycle for Survival page to make a contribution. 50 cents or 50 dollars--every bit of the money we raise will go directly to rare cancer research!
